Connauton has been traded to the Los Angeles Kings as part of a three-team blockbuster trade involving Columbus and five players and three draft picks. The 33-year-old defensemen had three goals, 12 assists, 49 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 63 games played with Lehigh Valley (AHL) in 2022-23 and has 360 career NHL games played with 80 points (28G/52A) across that span.

Lizotte has missed the Kings' previous three games due to a lower-body injury but is expected to return for Game 6 vs. Edmonton. The 25-year-old did not pick up a point in his two games played prior to the injury, but had three SOG and two PIMs.

Anderson-Dolan was a healthy scratch for the Kings' in their previous game but will draw back into the lineup for Game 3 Friday vs. Edmonton. He will replace the injured Blake Lizotte (lower-body) after having seven goals, 12 points and a -11 plus/minus through 46 games during the regular season.

Fiala has missed the Kings' previous eight games due to a lower-body injury and will be out Friday for Game 3 as they take on the Edmonton Oilers. The 26-year-old is still considered day-to-day, which is a huge loss as he had 23 goals, 72 points, 208 SOG, 52 PIMs and a +2 plus/minus through 69 games before his injury.

MacEwen has yet to appear in the 2022-23 playoffs but will be in the Kings' lineup for Game 3 as he replaced Arthur Kaliyev on Los Angeles fourth line. The 26-year-old had four goals, six assists, 73 SOG, 66 PIMs and a -11 plus/minus through 56 games with Los Angeles and Philadelphia this season.

Kaliyev had one SOG and a -1 plus/minus through the first two games of the Kings' opening series and will be a healthy scratch for Game 3 as Zack MacEwen replaces him in Los Angles lineup. The 21-year-old had 13 goals, 28 points and a -5 plus/minus through 56 games during the regular season.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2022-23, with his 23 goals, 41 points, 122 SOG, 18 PIMs and +10 plus/minus through 63 games prior to the injury.
