Gibson will be back between the pipes for the Ducks on Tuesday after Lukas Dostal made rare back-to-back starts on Thursday and Sunday. Gibson will be eager to snap a personal four-game losing streak, with his last victory coming in the form a 6-4 win over the Sharks way back on February 29th. The Ducks' long-term goaltender is the owner of a 13-24-2 record and an .891 SV% on the season. The team added the recovery will have McGinn sidelined for approximately four months, ending his 2023-24 season. McGinn had one goal and two assists in 24 games with the Ducks this season.
Zegras last played in early January and missed almost six weeks earlier with a lower-body injury he suffered on November 7th. The talented Zegras has been limited to only 20 games in an injury-riddled season, scoring seven points (4G / 3A) in a disappointing season riddled with injuries.
Stalock was recalled to back up Lukas Dostal on Sunday as John Gibson was not available due to personal reasons. The 36-year-old Stalock has spent most of the season in the AHL with the San Diego Gulls, posting a pedestrian 3.72 GAA and .894 SV% in 12 games (1-9-1).
Gibson was not available in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lighting due to personal reasons but was back at practice on Monday. Gibson has struggled between the pipes lately, allowing four or more goals in four straight games (1-3-0), but should return to the crease this week.
