McDonagh (upper-body) will be back in the Predators lineup on Tuesday.
McDonagh missed the Predators' previous four games due to an upper-body injury but will be back in the Nashville lineup Tuesday. The 33-year-old has a goal, 14 assists, 57 SOG, 16 PIMs and a +12 plus/minus through 57 games this season prior to his injury.
McDonagh (upper-body) will not play Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.

The 33-year-old will be a welcome addition back as he joins Roman Josi on Nashville's top pairing and hopes to add to his six assists, through 23 games played he had picked up prior to the injury.

The Predators have acquired Ryan McDonagh from the Lightning for Philippe Myers and Grant Mismash.
McDonagh has four years left on his seven-year deal that carries a $6.75M AAV cap-hit. The Lightning recently approached McDonagh to waive his no-trade clause in an effort to clear some cap-space. The Lightning have two key UFA's in Ondrej Palat and Jan Rutta and this trade could help get both of them under contract. In Nashville, McDonagh joins Roman Josi, and Mattias Ekholm as the Predators' new big-3.
McDonagh (upper-body) skated this morning but will not play Monday.
McDonagh will miss his sixth straight game on Monday but took part in the morning skate, which is a good sign that he'll be back at some point this week. Cal Foote will remain in the lineup until McDonagh is back.

McDonagh missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but head coach Jon Cooper said "things are looking good" for him to play on Thursday. McDonagh has collected two goals and six assists in 31 games this season.
