The Ducks signed Radio Gudas to a three-year contract worth $12.0 million ($4.0M AAV).
Gudas spent the last three seasons in Florida, where he had some of the best seasons of his career. He doesn't offer a lot offensively, posting just 44 points (7G / 37A) in 203 games, but he's a tough, rugged defenseman that led all defensemen in hits (917) during his three years with the Panthers. Not only did he have the most hits, he had 227 more hits than second (Luke Schenn).

Gudas (concussion) is out indefinitely.
The Panthers said that Gudas does not have a timetable for his return, so Matt Kiersted is expected to replace him in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Winnipeg.

Gudas left Saturday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.
The Panthers were already playing short a forward, and they lost both Gudas and Patric Hornqvist in Saturday's game. Head coach Paul Maruice did not have an update on Gudas' status post-game but expect to hear some news following Monday's practice.
