Pionk missed one game while in COVID-19 protocol but will play Friday in Dallas. Pionk will open the game on the third pairing with Ville Heinola and should see some power-play time as well.

Pionk was suspended for two games for kneeing Rasmus Sandin.
Pionk was at the centre of the chaos during Saturday's game vs. the Maple Leafs and received a two-game suspension for kneeing Rasmus Sandin. Pionk will be eligible to return to the lineup in Vancouver on Friday.
The Jets have agreed to terms with Neal Pionk on a four-year, $26 million contract.

Pionk will be out until after the All-Star break with a lower-body injury.
Pionk suffered a lower-body injury in Columbus on Sunday and will be out until after the NHL All-Star break. The Rangers will be without both Pionk and Frederik Claesson for at least a few weeks, so look for Tony DeAngelo and Brendan Smith to remain in the lineup.

The Rangers have recalled Neal Pionk from Hartford (AHL).
Pionk, 22, was an undrafted free agent out of the University of Minnesota-Duluth, who has collected 17 points (1G / 16A) in 48 games in his first season with Hartford (AHL). Pionk could make his NHL debut this weekend after Brendan Smith was placed on waivers this afternoon.
