The 35-year-old will be joining his seventh NHL team in Vancouver, having picked up 25 goals and 93 points across 461 career games played.

The Sabres have signed Matt Irwin to a one-year deal worth $700K.
Irwin served as a No.7 defenseman in Nashville before being flipped to Anaheim for Korbinian Holzer at the Trade Deadline. Irwin, who has just one goal and nine assists (10 points) in 80 games over the last two season, will likely fill a similar No.7 D-man role in Buffalo.
The Ducks have acquired Matt Irwin and a 2022 sixth-round pick from the Predators for Korbinian Holzer.
Irwin goes from the Predators' seventh defenseman to replacing Korninian Holzer as the Ducks' spare D-man. The 32-year-old has picked up just two assists while averaging 11:49 TOI/gm in 27 games this season.
