The Stars have signed Jason Robertson to a four-year contract worth $31.0 million ($7.75M AAV).
Robertson has missed the entire preseason while the Stars worked out an extension for him but get him signed one week before their season opener in Nashville. Robertson is coming off a breakout year, scoring 41 goals with 38 assists (79 points) in 74 games. He was tied for 13th in goals and tied for 35th in points. With new head coach Pete DeBoer behind the bench, we'll see if he goes back to the Robertson, Roope Hintz and Joe Pavelski line that was so successful last season.
Robertson (eye) will play Wednesday vs. the Predators.

Robertson was on the ice for Monday's practice but was sent home on Tuesday to treat his eye. According to head coach Rick Bowness, Robertson is expected to play on Wednesday, but monitor his status as the Stars hit the ice for their morning skate.

Robertson was one of six Stars players added to COVID-19 protocol on Sunday and two more were added on Monday. As of right now, they are scheduled to play three games this week, starting on Wednesday but it seems likely that they are going to be postponed.
