Jack Drury (upper-body) is expected to return to the Hurricanes' lineup for Game 1 vs. New Jersey.
Drury has been out since Game 4 of round one due to an upper-body injury but is expected to return to Carolina's lineup for Game 1 of round two on Wednesday. Drury has yet to pick up a point in his four playoff games played this year, but has six SOG, 10 PIMs and a -1 plus/minus.

Drury had two assists, 32 SOG, 10 PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in a bottom-six role across 21 games with the Hurricanes' but will head back down to Chicago (AHL) for the second time this season. In Chigaco, he had a goal, two assists and six PIMs in eight games prior to his previous promotion.

The Hurricanes have recalled Jack Drury from Chicago (AHL).
With a bunch of Hurricanes forwards in COVID-19 protocol, Drury is set up to make his NHL debut on Thursday. The 2018 second-round pick has scored seven goals with nine assists (16 points) in 23 AHL games this season.
The Hurricanes have signed Jack Drury to a three-year, entry-level contract.
