Malgin last played on January 5th and had to leave after just 0:47 TOI due to an upper-body injury but will return to the Avalanche's lineup on Thursday. The 26-year-old has two goals, three assists, 59 SOG, and six PIMs through 30 games between Colorado and Toronto this season.

Malgin will head to the press box as a healthy scratch Wednesday as Toronto takes on San Jose. The 25-year-old winger has two goals, two assists and 37 SOG through 18 games while averaging only 11:20 TOI.
