The Kraken announced Burakovsky will be out 6-8 weeks with an upper-body injury.
Burakovsky suffered the injury after sustaining a hit from the Rangers Jacob Trouba in the second period of Saturday's game and did not return. It's another tough blow for Burakovsky who entered the campaign with a clean bill of health following a season-ending groin injury last February.
