The Islanders have acquired Alexander Romanov and pick #98 in the 2022 Draft from the Canadiens for pick #13 in the 2022 draft.

The Canadiens have been completely decimated by injuries and COVID-19 and will likely have to play with 11 forwards and five defensemen on Saturday.
Romanov will be scratched Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.
