Alexander Alexeyev has signed a two-year, one-way contract extension ($825,000 AAV).
Alexeyev had five assists, 28 SOG, four PIMs and a -2 plus/minus through 32 games with the Capitals this season and has signed a two-year extension Monday with an AAV of $825,000. The 23-year-old was Washington's 2018 1st round pick (31st overall).

With the injury news to John Carlson, Alexeyev will draw back into Washington's line Tuesday. He last played on Dec. 9th, and has one assist, three SOG and a -1 plus/minus in five games this season.
